Cyclo Cryo and Cyclo Diode

Controlling the pressure in eyes with ocular surface reconstruction.

Individuals suffering from diseases that cause damage and distortion to the front of the eye (anterior segment) often get high pressure which adds to the risk of sight loss. When conventional drops do not work, freezing (cryo) and laser (cyclo diode) can be used instead. They decrease the pressure by reducing the production of the fluid that builds up the pressure.

Ahmed Valve Implant With Ocular Surface Reconstruction Procedures

Another treatment to treat distortion to the front of the eye (anterior segment) is with a valve implant.

This can increase the outflow of fluid and reduce the pressure on the eye.
