After medical qualification, Dr Said trained as specialist in eye diseases (Ophthalmology) in Egypt and UK.

Advanced ‘Cornea and External eye disease’ training as a Fellow, Nottingham University Hospital

Over 25 years’ experience in the diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases

Serving as Consultant Ophthalmologist and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Nottingham. Treating and training young ophthalmologists in diseases affecting the front half of the eye. Providing advanced medical and surgical treatments for:

  • Dry eyes
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Corneal inflammation and infection.
  • Recurrunt corneal erosions
  • Cataract, Astigmatism

  • Keratoconus
  • Pterygium
  • Corneal scars
  • corneal dystrophy e.g Fuchs dystrophy
  • Stem cell failure
